Woman of color wearing earphones and listening to audio files. On this page Citizen Scientist Data Analysts will analyze sound data and compare it to field notes! A scientist’s field notes are so important for so many reasons! One of the reasons is so that other scientists can review the notes and recreate the study. While on location, Citizen Scientists Field Researchers took observation notes and collected sound data. As Data Analysts, you will listen to the data, read their notes, and make your own audio data observations. Maybe you will agree with the computer analysis and/or the Field Researcher and maybe you won’t. There is no wrong answer, just more information!
