Solar Eclipse Lookup Map & Tool

2024

There are two tools below to help you determine if you will experience a total solar eclipse or a partial eclipse on April 8, 2024 based on your location. If you are using a screenreader, we recommend using the “Zip Code and Location Lookup” tool.
  • NASA Map
  • Zip Code & Location Lookup

The map might take a few minutes to load.

All information will be presented in a table.  If you are using a screen reader, please allow a few seconds for the table to generate after you select the Find With ZIP Code or Find With Location buttons.

Accuracy Note: The ZIP code locator is not as accurate as using your location. As ZIP codes can be large, the eclipse may be total in some areas within a ZIP code and partial in others.  If the ZIP code locator shows a total eclipse, we encourage users to use the “Find With Location” tool at their observing site, or to use the eclipse location and map resources on our Eclipse Resources page for more accurate eclipse predictions.
